Extoseal Encors 12" - Self-sealing Heavy-duty Sill Protection

EXTOSEAL ENCORS is a watertight adhesive tape with high adhesion for creating window sills.

Properties:
• Extremely high adhesion even to slightly damp and cold surfaces
• Acrylic modified butyl adhesive works in cold weather, min. -4°F
• Dimensions: Available in 6″, 8″, 10" and 12″ widths; each 65’ 7” (20 m) in length
• Release strips allow for step by step application to frame, sill and vertical sheathing
• Very elastic carrier foil with particularly low “memory-forces”
• Form fitting around surfaces and corners, to form ‘one-piece” sills
• Extremely high adhesion even to slightly damp and cold surfaces
• Bonds to brick, concrete and wood fiber boards, etc. without the need for primers
• Self seals around nail and screw holes

Area of application:
Watertight adhesive tape with high adhesion for creating window sills, for joining wood-based panels to smooth concrete surfaces, to stick woodfiber roof panels to one another (e.g. in valleys and transitions) and to bond them to adjoining structural elements.

Conditions:
The bonds should not be subjected to tensile strain. Press firmly to secure the adhesive tape. Ensure there is sufficient back pressure. Windproof, airtight or rainproof seals can only be achieved on vapor retarding membranes, WRB’s or roof underlayments that have been laid without folds or creases. To work with the tape, temperatures must be >-4°F (-10°C). Do note that below freezing the tape does become slightly less stretchy
